Valérie Pozner, 1961-
Biography
Valérie Pozner is research director at the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), THALIM laboratory (Theory and History of Modern Art and Literature) in Paris. She is a specialist in the history of Russian and Soviet cinema, with a particular focus on the first half of the 20th century, and the author of numerous articles, chapters and books, many of which concern the history of technologies – the transition from silent to talkies, early film production, color processes, 3-D cinema.
